2009 Updates For regular schedule, not Maxxis series. To absorb the cost of trophies for the points at the end of the year, there will be a $35 one time fee and all positions will recieve a trophy. If you do not want to run for points then you do not have to pay the $35. The track is looking to run a tire rule this year so we need to know how many sets of Firestones are out there. Please email the track letting us know how many sets you have and if you have an animal engine. NEW 2009 Rule: It is at the discretion of the track whether a driver can move up a class. They can only move up one age group. Driver needs to have raced at two other tracks besides Lone Oak and have finished in the top 3 with at least one Feature win. Driver will have to run test segments for track officials. Decisions will be made within 2 weeks. Sr. Pro will be split into a Sr. Pro Lite (330 lbs.) and a Sr. Pro Heavy (375 lbs.) Animal engines and Maxxis EL tires will be used in these classes. We will have a 5 race Maxxis EL Series, must have a 7 kart average in each class to be eligible for the prize which is to be announced. We have had interest in running a clone engine class so please email the track if you are interested. We may be switching Vintage to Clone engines in the Fall. Clone motors are coming to Lone Oak. There will be a claimer rule on these motors. The claimer will be anonymous to avoid any problems. Motor must pass tech first. If it does not pass tech, LOS has the right to hold the motor for further evaluation to find out which components are illegal so they can be removed and replaced with known stock parts. All accessories will stay with original owner. If claimee will not surrender motor, he/she will forfeit the right to race that class for 1 year from that date. NO EXCEPTIONS! Claimer rule is $200 CASH. Maxxis EL tires will be available from the track. Please pre-order. $160 a set. Prep and Mounting will be available for an extra cost. Animals and Flatheads will not be mixed. Vintage Class- 360 lbs. No tube size requirements but cannot have heim front-end adjustments. |
